Back in February, we shared a story about Cub Scout Jacob Gratton, a Webelos from Arlington, Vt., who faced a major surgery earlier this month.
We’re thrilled to report that Jacob is doing well, and so far he’s received several hundred get-well-soon cards from his extended family at the Boy Scouts of America.
Jacob’s mom, Sharon Gratton, created the campaign Cards For Jacob, which calls for others to send cards to Jacob during his long road to recovery. Jacob is still recovering at home, and Sharon says it could be several more weeks before he returns to school.
“He looks forward to getting the mail every day since he cannot go out and play with his friends,” she says.
