Angela has a trunk full of Scouting for Food donations. Jennifer’s SUV can hold 80 dozen doughnuts for a troop fundraiser. And Rob fills his hatchback with camping and paddling supplies.
Scouters from coast to coast (or should I say Interstate 5 to Interstate 95?) use their cars as mobile storage spaces for all things Scouting.
That’s why I asked to see photos of your car’s trunk, and you responded in a big way.
Here are 10 of my favorites. If you have a trunk photo to share, learn how to send it to me at the end of this post.
Rob C., Troop 103, Miamisburg, Ohio
Miguel D., Pack 75 and Troop 75
Angela F., Pack 99, Newtown, Pa. (“859 pounds of food for Scouting for Food”)
Scott S., Pack 29, Lynchburg, Va.
Katie H., Troop 850, Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Molton (Eagle project supplies, camporee items and more)
Jennifer H., Troop 99, Albany, Ore. (80 dozen doughnuts for a troop Veteran’s Day fundraiser)
Melissa D., Pack 451, Knoxville, Tenn.
Eric Z., Troop 4, Cotati, Calif. (“Ready to go camping at a moment’s notice”)
