Report to the Nation

The delegates visited the National Mining Association’s headquarters to take their official portraits and discover the role of mining in America.

Thirteen of the country’s most impressive Scouts will gather in Washington to deliver the 2019 Report to the Nation, recapping another great year for the BSA.

Politicians may not align on every issue, but here’s one topic about which they agree: Scouting helps prepare young men and young women for life.

Twelve delegates representing four different BSA programs submitted the 2018 Report to the Nation into the congressional record on Tuesday in Washington.

On a tour led by Eagle Scouts, the Report to the Nation delegates saw where midshipmen eat, live, take classes and participate in sports.

One by one, the Report to the Nation delegates shared their story. And one by one, viewers were reminded of the ways Scouting empowers young people.

This group of 12 of the country’s finest young people will deliver the 2018 Report to the Nation. The delegates will share the Scouting story in Washington.
