Proudly display your BSA pride — down to your specific unit number and location — by purchasing clothing, accessories and other products from the recently launched MyScoutShop.org.
The BSA’s newest online store offers youth and adults the option to choose pre-approved, customized pack and troop designs for every item. Every order is custom printed and personalized at MyScoutShop’s production facility in the USA.
The shop starts with the exact design that you select when you place an order, then customizes your item using whatever process — Digisoft, direct-to-garment, sublimation or vinyl heat press — that produces the best quality result for each individual item.
We already know that simply wearing BSA attire around town can help recruit new members. Why not expand your collection to some of the many items sold at MyScoutShop.org?
What kind of items are sold at MyScoutShop.org?
MyScoutShop.org offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, jerseys, polo shirts, warmups and bags, and accessories such as bag tags, blankets, mugs, water bottles and more.
How does MyScoutShop.org work?
From the MyScoutShop.org homepage, choose the BSA program for which you want to purchase apparel: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts or Exploring.
The first click will take you to a directory of states (plus, for most programs, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia). Choose the location where your unit is based.
On the next page, choose the city in which your unit is based.
If your unit is the only unit in your city, you will see the products branded specifically for your unit. If there are multiple units in the same city, you’ll have to click on yours to bring up your unit’s homepage.
What if my unit isn’t listed?
The BSA is growing all the time! New units might not yet appear on MyScoutShop.org.
Whether your unit is old or new, if you can’t find it on MyScoutShop.org, send an email to MyScoutShop.org support and they will take care of you.
Is there a minimum quantity size for orders from MyScoutShop.org?
No!
The beauty of MyScoutShop.org is that you use it to purchase a single T-shirt or other item as needed. Pricing for single T-shirts, for example, start at around $21 each.
Group discounts start at six items, allowing parents or units to save money if they’re outfitting, say, an entire Cub Scout den or Scouts BSA patrol.
How fast do items ship from MyScoutShop.org?
Orders typically take 2-5 days for customization, then ship after that. You can select the shipping speed that best serves your need.
Are the shirts, shorts and pants on MyScoutShop.org designed to replace the uniforms sold at local Scout Shops and on ScoutShop.org?
No.
Official BSA uniforms, often called Class A uniforms, are still available at ScoutShop.org and at local brick-and-mortar shops. They remain the recommended attire whenever appropriate: meetings, ceremonies, formal dinners and other events as determined by your unit, district or council.
Can I wear the T-shirt I bought on MyScoutShop.org to Scout campouts and other outings?
That’s a question for your unit leadership.
The Boy Scouts of America has always been a uniformed body. The uniform is one of the methods of Scouting.
Uniforms help to create a sense of belonging. They symbolize character development, leadership, citizenship training and personal fitness. Wearing a uniform gives youth and adult members a sense of identification and commitment.
Though many units allow youth to wear unit-branded T-shirts, they might request that all youth wear the same T-shirt. Talk to your leader for guidance.
