Cub Scout packs across the country are hosting join Scouting nights, plus other good news from this week

The 2023 National Fall Membership Kickoff was a smashing success (if you missed it, scroll down to the bottom of this post to see what all the hype was about), and Cub Scout packs across the country are now preparing for the big recruiting push of the fall.

Cub Scout Pack 27 from Redmond, Oregon, calls their event an open house.

Cub Scout Pack 3729 in Leesburg, Indiana, calls theirs a roundup.

Cub Scout Pack 117 in Hiawatha, Kansas, hosts a fishing derby as their join event.

And in the New Iberia, Louisiana, area, a Cub Scout pack, Scouts BSA troop for girls and a Scouts BSA troop for boys all join together for one giant welcome party for new members.

BSA joins other community leaders to create STEM camp for youth

Representatives from the BSA’s Twin Valley Council in Minnesota are joining with volunteers from the YWCA, YMCA and the local Rotary Club to host a summer STEM camp later this month.
