Leaders’ Update goes digital to keep jamboree volunteers in the loop

LeadersupdateAre you serving as a Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, or staff member at next week's 2010 National Scout Jamboree?

If so, Leaders' Update, which has always been an excellent source of important information for jamboree leaders, is now available in a digital form.

On the Leaders' Update Web site, readers can view critical reminders and helpful hints from now until the end of the jamboree. Jamboree leaders and staff will continue to receive a paper copy of Leaders' Update each day, but the Web site will allow them to stay informed wherever and whenever they'd like.

That doesn't mean you'll have to constantly be refreshing the Leaders' Update page on your browser. Instead, simply text the word "leaders" to BSA100 (272100), and you'll be notified whenever there's a new post.

While we're on the subject of text messages, you should also know you can text "staff" or "jambo" to BSA100 to receive staff- or participant-specific text messages.
