The BSA’s 2024 National Annual Meeting is set for May 6-9 in Orlando, Florida, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most epic national Scouting events of the year.

“From the rugged trails of the Pacific Northwest to the sun-drenched shores of the Florida coast, Scouting volunteers and professionals from every corner of this great nation are converging on Orlando for one epic event … a celebration of Scouting!” the BSA said in a news release. “In the heart of the Sunshine State, we’ll unite under a single banner, celebrating the diverse tapestry of cultures and experiences that make up the Scouting movement.”
What is the National Annual Meeting?
The National Annual Meeting (often referred to simply as NAM) is an annual gathering of BSA employees and volunteers from across the country at every level of Scouting. The event is open to folks such as unit leaders, Scout executives, council presidents, registered BSA youth, BSA alumni … and anyone else involved in Scouting in any way, along with their spouses or guests.
“Through dynamic conference sessions, we’ll propel forward and affirm Scouting’s pledge to prepare young people for lives of impact and purpose,” says the BSA. “Together, we’ll light the way for generations to come as a united, strong and vibrant movement.”
Where is the 2024 National Annual Meeting?
The 2024 National Annual Meeting will be at the Orlando World Center Marriott, conveniently located near attractions such as Disney World, Universal Islands of Adventure and Aquatica water park. If you book your room before Friday, March 29, you can get the BSA’s discounted rate.

General sessions are open to everyone. You can sign up for elective sessions during the registration process.
There will be opportunities to learn about topics such as the updates to the Cub Scout program, what’s new in health and safety, and much, much more.
There are also breakfasts, dinners and receptions honoring various BSA award winners from the previous year.
And, new this year: a 5K fun run/walk with BSA President and CEO Roger Krone!
