Gitanjali Rao isn’t just an award-winning inventor. And her accolades don’t stop with her landing the honor of TIME Kid of the Year in December 2020. She’s been recognized for her work to address issues like bullying, opioid addiction and contaminated drinking water.
Gitanjali is also a STEM Scout.
As part of the National Capital Area Council’s STEM Speaker Series, Gitanjali will join us live on Facebook this Saturday, August 28 at 4 p.m. Central, to answer your questions and celebrate other Scout inventors (that could be you! More info on that in a minute).
How to watch
Tuning in is simple. Just hop onto the Scout Life Facebook page at 4 p.m. Central (that’s 5 p.m. Eastern and 2 p.m. Pacific) this Saturday or watch it below.
