How Space Shuttle Endeavour can launch your Scouts toward Robotics merit badge

Looking for a way to get your Scouts excited about Robotics merit badge?

Just look up. Way up.

Scouts who earn the Robotics merit badge between April 12 and Sept. 30, 2011, can enter to win a special Robotics merit badge and NASA prize package.

It’s the perfect opportunity for Scouters to combine this week’s launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour with the BSA’s latest merit badge.

One-hundred randomly selected Scouts will receive: a Robotics merit badge patch that flew into space on the Endeavour STS-134 mission, an official Endeavour STS-134 mission patch, a photo of the shuttle crew, and a certificate of authenticity.

Estimated retail value: priceless.

Sorry, Scouters, we can’t enter. Only registered Boy Scouts 17 or younger who earned the merit badge in that timeframe are eligible.

See this page for the official rules and details on how your Scouts can enter.
