The adventures of Nort and Chip

This fun, humorous book follows the antics and missions of two boys: 10-year-old Nort and 14-year-old Chip. To help his dad, Nort, a computer genius and inventor, creates C.H.I.P., a microchip that can control someone’s brain and impart special skills and powers to the user. He’s not about to try his creation on himself, so he recruits his best friend, Chip, who is transformed into a secret agent after wearing C.H.I.P. on his tooth.

The two try to save the town after an evil cheese monger threatens to take over kids’ minds.

This book’s themes of friendship, imagination and wackiness should relate to many middle-schoolers, even reluctant readers.

Clark, who lives near Toronto with his wife and twin children, has written several entertaining chapter books for middle-school readers. He has a background in writing and story editing on more than 150 TV scripts for shows broadcast on the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, BBC, Netflix, CBC and CTV.

You can order Clark’s new book here for $9.99, either in hardcover or Kindle. You can find coloring sheets and a contest here. The next book in the series will be released at a later date.
