Pretty easily. Talk to your Scoutmaster or SPL and find out who teaches it in your troop. Your troop should have people and the materials needed to give you the necessary skilset to pass the requirements. If you already have your own pocket knife, being it along with your Scout book.

Older youth teaching the woods tools skills to the younger Scouts, and having them complete the other requirements of the Totin’ Chip is something that could easily be accomplished at either a Patrol or Troop meeting or camp out with some planning and preparation in advance.

Teaching the woods tools skills should be something being taught at someplace other than summer camp, as portions of those are also early rank requirements (Tenderfoot 3d).

With a little forethought, it is easy to tie it together with the Firem’n Chit, which pulls in a few more of those early rank requirements (Second Class 2a-c).

Once the skills are taught and demonstrated, it is up to the Scoutmaster (or their designee) to determine when the scout has shown they understand the responsibility for the behaviors listed in the Totin’ Chip and/or Firem’n Chit and certify them.
