In honor of Black History Month, let’s remember Joseph Merton, a member of the Tuskegee Airmen and the first black leader of the BSA’s older youth division.
They’ve worked on merit badges together, were inducted into the Order of the Arrow at the same time, and have even attended some of the same camporees.
