On May 19, 1972, the National Eagle Scout Association was officially born. Since then, NESA has continued to serve Eagle Scouts and, through them, the entire Scouting movement.
The latest batch of 11 projects includes a renovated baseball complex in Arkansas, new arboretum signage in New Jersey and an impressive prayer garden in Louisiana.
“We have an eagle statue in my grandfather’s house with the names of the Eagles in our family engraved on it. I really wanted to be a part of that eagle, and I wanted to carry on the family tradition as well.”
