Be Prepared to do your holiday shopping at the Scout Shop

The Scout Shop offers great gifts for the holidays — from camping gear to cool Scouting apparel and from jewelry to collectibles.

If you haven’t checked your loved ones’ wish lists, you might want to do that soon. Supply chain issues and shipping delays will likely demand that you place your orders sooner than usual. For Scout Shop orders, that means allowing up to 12 business days on standard ground orders within the 48 contiguous states (specifically, if you want something before Christmas, order by 8:59 p.m. PT on Dec. 8). For second-day air or overnight orders, allow two business days.

These dates are estimates and could change depending on carrier demand this year. So, apply the Scout Motto when shopping online.

Considering the inflation in the economic landscape this year, you’ll also want to be extra thrifty when you shop, and the Scout Shop can help you with that, too.

Starting Dec. 1, the Scout Shop will offer “12 Days of Deals” and “Blitzen’s Bargains,” both 12-day promotions, offering discounts on select items. Blitzen’s Bargains focuses on big in-store deals with items marked down during the full 12 days. The 12 Days of Deals is online only, and one or two different items are marked down each day. Check the Scout Shop’s social media channels and your local Scout Shop location for specific deals of the day.

Something else you’ll want to check out is the Scout Shop’s “Win Your Wish List” sweepstakes. From Nov. 30 to Dec. 10, you can create a wish list of items in the Scout Shop, totaling up to $300. Then, share your list at giveaway@scoutshop.org using the “Share Wish List” button. One winner will receive what they wished for on their list.
