Twenty years ago today, the world was shocked and saddened at the events unfolding at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and in a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Among the victims was Shawn E. Bowman Jr., an Eagle Scout and veteran leader who had been active in Scouting for more than two-thirds of his life.
For more information on Bowman and how he was memorialized by his fellow Scouters, check out this story from the January-February 2003 issue of Scouting magazine.
