Scouts react to meeting President Trump to present Report to the Nation

On Tuesday, one Cub Scout, one Explorer, one Sea Scout, two Venturers and five Boy Scouts visited the White House to present the Boy Scouts of America’s Report to the Nation to President Donald Trump.

The report summarizes the BSA’s many accomplishments from the previous year, and presenting it to the president is a tradition that dates back to the presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Like I did last year after the Report to the Nation delegates met President Barack Obama, this year I captured the delegates’ thoughts about touring the White House, visiting the Oval Office and meeting the president.
