STEM conferences at Philmont, SBR bring science to life

Serious about STEM? Time to prove it.

Turn your passion for amplifying the presence of science, technology, engineering and math in your unit into real results by getting trained.

Hands-on training conferences this summer at Philmont and the Summit Bechtel Reserve bring the concept of STEM to life in a way sure to benefit your Scouts and Venturers.

The Summit Bechtel Reserve offers seven-day training courses for youth and adults that challenge and stimulate your mind in one of the coolest places for Scouting — a place where science and technology are on full display.

The Philmont Training Center offers separate seven-day courses for youth and adults. Youth ages 14 to 20 will travel to a number of places across Philmont’s majestic grounds to explore and complete experiments. Adults will enjoy a similarly hands-on week designed to offer real ideas to use with packs, troops, teams and crews back home.

Here’s what you need to know.
