It’s time to take a fresh look at Exploring

A young person’s window to an exciting career just got a lot more awesome.

Yes, it’s time to take a new look at Exploring, the career exploration Scouting program for young people ages 14 to 20.

Exploring, an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America, lets teens get a taste of a career that interests them through exciting, hands-on exposure they can’t get in school — or anywhere else, really.

And with a new tagline — “Discover Your Future” — a phenomenal new website, and teen-targeted imagery, Exploring is ready to reintroduce itself to the world.

I mean, just watch this terrific video to get a sense of the you-can’t-do-this-elsewhere experiences awaiting Explorers.

“I feel we have only scratched the surface of all this wonderful program has to offer,” he writes. “In fact, I believe Exploring has the potential to help reverse the decline in Scouting membership, which is why we’re investing our efforts in helping youth discover this program and the important role it can play in helping to shape their future.”
