Extreme Makeovers, Round 13: Eagle Scout project before-and-after photos

Note: This is the 13th in a series where I share Eagle Scout project before-and-after photos. See the complete collection here.

To fully understand the impact Eagle Scout projects have on communities, you need to see to believe. That’s why I asked to see Eagle Scout project before-and-after photos — the same photos prospective Eagles are asked to include with their post-project report.

This week’s batch of 24 projects includes restored pingpong tables, a refurbished miniature golf course, a new entrance sign at a cemetery and many more.

What’s great is that you can multiply each individual act of stupendous service by 50,000. That’s how many Eagle Scout projects get completed every single year.

Ryan from Kentucky

Who: Ryan, Troop 110, Lexington, Ky.

They repaired greens, removed old obstacles and replaced them, refurbishing and building new obstacles. Mulch was laid. Electricity was brought to the golf course. Obstacles were rewired, and power was laid underground. Motors were rebuilt. Benches and score card posts were repainted. Score cards were created and placed in a newly built card/pencil holder. A ‘plinko’ type ball drop was built to determine the order of play. The 12 points of the Scout Law were placed in the center of the mini golf course with registration information added to the obstacle.
