Actor Travis Tope, of the new series ‘Battle Creek,’ is an Eagle Scout

The Hollywood Reporter called him “the hottest actor you’ve never heard of.”

We call Travis Tope an Eagle Scout.

Tope, who has appeared in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, the film Men, Women and Children, and the new CBS drama Battle Creek, earned the Eagle Scout award in January 2010 as a member of Plano, Texas, Troop 1000.

Tope appeared on the final season of Boardwalk Empire, the critically acclaimed Prohibition-era HBO series, in the recurring role of Slim, a young drifter.

In the film Men, Women and Children, Tope played a character named Chris Truby, the son of Adam Sandler’s character.

Now he’s landed a role in the detective drama Battle Creek as Ricky. The show airs on Sunday nights on CBS.

Watch for Tope, a “rising star” to show up more and more on screens large and small. Let’s wish this Eagle Scout good luck in his budding acting career.
