It's been just over a week since the Boy Scouts of America Centennial Silver Dollar went on sale, but already more than 60 percent of the coins minted have been sold.

According to U.S. Mint sales figures reported on the Web site Coin Update News, 214,673 coins had been sold as of Sunday. The sales were divided between 144,732 proof coins and 69,941 copies of the uncirculated version.

Only 350,000 coins were authorized to be minted, meaning just 38.6 percent remain. There's still time to order one, but those on the fence don't have long to wait.

When should you expect to receive your coins? Well, we've already heard reports of people who ordered their coins on launch day receiving notification that they've shipped. Coins ordered now will begin shipping on April 15, according to the U.S. Mint's Web site.
