Well, I found the first three, but those last two were hard. I searched and searched the Internet and couldn't find either. I went to the list of all square knot patches and there was no black on white patch among them, so I can't wait to find out what it is. And the fourth one had no identifying marks at all - maybe a local thing? But it was fun looking for them all. Thanks for the contest.

actually, my website has full info on the fourth patch. Its not local, it was actually listed in Boy Scout Handbooks of the 30s.

I'll post more info on Monday.

Got an idea for a blog post?

We're looking for great trips to feature in What a Weekend, recognition-worthy volunteers for Scouter Spotlight, and tricky questions about BSA policies or procedures for Ask the Expert. Or anything else you can think of.

E-mail us your ideas.
