Name That Council: September 11, 2009 solution

Hear that? That’s the sweet sound of the ukulele, barely
audible above the crashing surf outside your lanai. Imagining a scene this
tranquil almost isn’t fair on a Monday morning at the office, but it’s not our
fault. Friday’s Name That Council patch deserves the blame.

Were you able to identify the council whose members wear the patch
shown below? Follow the jump to see if you got it right.

19-Maui

It’s the Maui County Council, which serves the
islands of Maui, Moloka’i, and Lana’i, with its headquarters in Wailuku, Maui.

Despite their geographic separation from the mainland,
Scouts in this council still strive to “E ho’omakaukau” (“Be Prepared”) and “E hana i hana maika’i i na la apau” (“Do a Good
Turn Daily”).
