might have gotten it—if you looked closely at the most-prominent element of the
patch (shown above). Follow the jump for the correct answer.
That’s it. The
Yankee Clipper Council, based in Haverhill, Mass., about 40 miles
north of Boston. Pearl Parker, a pack trainer from Gaithersburg, Md., was the first to get it correctly.
A clipper ship
on a nondescript stretch of water? Maybe you were out to sea on this one,
unless the name of the fast, 19th-century sailing ships came to
mind.
So don’t feel
too bad if you didn’t get it. Just come back Friday for another challenge—an
easier one. Maybe.
